Monash Health are excited to host the meeting and whilst numerous high quality scientific conferences are available, this year we are focusing on fresh and lesser explored topics of non-core urology, hence our theme; “Urology… not Urology”.
We are thrilled to bring you a variety of colourful and intriguing sessions which are guaranteed to encourage thought, discussion and interest. Please note, this year we will start with the Annual General Meeting, before moving into the scientific sessions. Topics include; dealing with our complications, a forum on transgender issues, as well as, the role of physiotherapy in urology. We will include a wholesome nursing program, a registrar education session, as well as submitted research presentations.

The Organising Committee of the ANZSVS Conference 2023 are very excited to welcome you to the beautiful, tropical city of Cairns in Tropical Far North Queensland for our annual scientific conference.
This year our program features collaborations with Diabetic Foot Australia and the Asia Pacific Society for Dialysis Access (APSDA). There will be a one-day symposium designed to update everyone on the newest guidelines for the management of Diabetic Foot, plus a conjoined session with the APSDA highlighting developments in renal dialysis access including percutaneous AV fistula formation.

ANZSCTS ASM 2023

With our meeting set in such an atmosphere, there will be great opportunities for professional and personal networking and the exchange of ideas between delegates, sponsors and exhibitors, as well as an opportunity to explore the region.
We are formulating an engaging program that will encompass a range of current topics in Cardiothoracic Surgery with interactive workshops to cater for attendees at the early stages of their training and to those with a wealth of experience. There will be an ANZSCTS Trainees Day as well as a Nurse and Allied Health Education Day. International guest speakers as well as local faculty will be supporting these workshops.
