Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PRSSP)
The purpose of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Science and Principles (PRSSP) Examination is to ensure that trainees are equipped with knowledge of the basic sciences relevant to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery early in their surgical training.
This exam does not count for any part of the Fellowship Examination, and must be completed successfully by the end of SET 4. The maximum number of attempts at the examination is four.

Sitting the exam
Candidates are required to arrive at the examination venue at least 30 minutes prior to the examination start time with photo identification. This examination is delivered electronically.
Candidates are awarded a result of pass or fail only for the examination. Results are available in the RACS Portfolio and via email approximately four weeks after the examination.
