This International Women's Day, we invite you to be a part of our celebration and advocacy efforts. Together, let's recognise the importance of investing in women to accelerate progress towards gender equality and empowerment.

Throughout the day, RACS will be hosting various events and activities to honour the spirit of International Women's Day. From insightful panel discussions to breakfast Zoom events there will be something for everyone to participate in and learn from.

RACS Tasmania Women in Medicine breakfast

RACS welcomed 30 attendees yesterday to the RACS Tasmania Women in Medicine breakfast to begin International Women's Day celebrations. 

Guests heard from Dr Emily Ryan and Dr Jennifer Jamieson on their stories so far and the Bongiorno Group launched the Bongiorno Group Women in Surgery Grant, following the tragic loss of their co-founder Tony Bongiorno last year.
