Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The RACS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program has been developed to closely align with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) CPD registration standard and recertification requirements set by the Te Kaunihera Rata o Aotearoa - Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).  

All medically registered practitioners are required to undertake an annual CPD program. Active RACS Fellows are to participate in the RACS program or an alternative CPD program that is recognised by RACS. PGY3+ Doctors in a surgically affiliated field can also participate in the RACS program.
