Call for Research Paper Submissions
2026 Tasmanian Annual Scientific Meeting

Fellows, Trainees, Registrars and Medical Students are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation at the 2026 Tasmanian Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM).

The ASM provides a valued platform to showcase research, present innovative ideas, and contribute to scholarly discussion within the Tasmanian surgical community. The 2026 meeting will feature four prize categories recognising excellence in research. Eligibility criteria for each prize category are outlined on our website.

Prior to submitting an abstract, applicants are asked to carefully review the submission guidelines (PDF 152.22KB).

Finalists will be selected and notified on 15 August 2026. Applicants who are not selected for oral presentation will be offered the opportunity to present their work as a poster.

We encourage all eligible applicants to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in the 2026 ASM.
