Overview
Australia and New Zealand Surgical Skills Training (ASSET) is a practical course teaching essential surgical skills.
The ASSET Committee is a subcommittee of the Prevocational and Skills Education Committee (PSEC), and has direct responsibility for the oversight of the ASSET program throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Submit an expression of interest to join the ASSET Committee
Expressions of interest are only reviewed at regular scheduled meetings and are assessed against current committee composition requirements.
Objectives
The ASSET Committee oversees:
- the implementation and continued development of the ASSET program throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
- the conduct of the ASSET program throughout Australia and New Zealand. To oversee the review of curriculum and materials necessary for the ASSET program.
- the ongoing recruitment and training of faculty.
