Overview
Training in Professional Skills (TIPS) is a course focused on patient-centered communication, teamwork and professional behaviours in surgical practice.
The TIPS Committee is a subcommittee of the Prevocational and Skills Education Committee (PSEC) and has direct responsibility for the effective organisation and delivery of the TIPS course throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

Submit and expression of interest to join the TIPS Committee
Expressions of interest are only reviewed at regular scheduled meetings and are assessed against current committee composition requirements.
Objectives
The TIPS Committee oversees:
- the implementation and continued development the TIPS program throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand
- the conduct of the TIPS program throughout Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand
- the review of curriculum and materials necessary to the TIPS program
- the ongoing recruitment and training of faculty.
