The JDocs framework and ePortfolio have been developed to:
• Identify the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to be a safe and competent clinician during the early postgraduate years.
• Provide a range of work-based assessment strategies and tools to identify the clinical situations and ways in which a prevocational doctor can demonstrate the achieved learning outcomes and professional standards of the JDocs Framework.
• Support self-directed learning through tools and resources to support the development of a professional profile by documenting evidence of achievements, work-based assessment, and experiences through the ePortfolio.
JDocs is not supervised, and the level of engagement is determined by the individual. It is anticipated that you as a prevocational doctor will approach your supervisor and/or educational support officer for additional guidance and support, where required.
The eLearning approach
The RACS flexible eLearning framework recognises the needs of its geographically diverse membership, as well as the typically significant demands on individuals time.
RACS’ eLearning platform is designed to encourage both individual and collaborative learning, providing expertise and guidance, technical support and access to valuable

Aclands Video Atlas of Human Anatomy
Practising surgeons and physicians value the Video Atlas as a quick way to refresh their anatomical knowledge, as well as a way to help their patients understand an ailment, injury or procedure.
Anatomedia
Anatomedia online is a unique way to learn about the anatomy of the human body. It is a comprehensive, self-paced learning program that explores anatomy from four different perspectives. These perspectives illustrate how the body is constructed (from regions and systems) and how the body can be deconstructed (with dissection and imaging techniques).
Four perspectives:
- Regions: includes surface and functional anatomy
- Systems: includes conceptual and clinical anatomy
- Dissection: includes practical procedures and post-mortem
- Imaging: includes sectional and endoscopic anatomy
