General Surgery Australia

The responsibility of the administration of the General Surgery Surgical Education and Training (SET) program of RACS has been delegated to General Surgeons Australia (GSA).

Past offers

In 2019 one hundred & five (105)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2020.
In 2020 eight-eight (88)* trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2021.
In 2021 eighty-six (86)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2022.
In 2022 one hundred & two (102)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2023.
In 2023 one hundred & fifteen (115)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2024.
In 2024 one hundred & twenty-one (121)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2025.
In 2025 fifty-four (54)* Trainees were appointed into the SET Program to commence in 2026.
